The FSPs of Manila carried out a particularly meaningful Bible Mission in Binondo, a very poor area of the city that was impoverished even further by the recent floods that devastated the capital.
Entitled Biblia sa Bawat Pamilya, the Mission brought the Sacred Scriptures to the streets and families of this squatters refuge on the periphery of the city. Many of the inhabitants of the area accepted the invitation of our missionaries to participate in a Bible seminar, the purpose of which was to help families to walk in the light and strength of the Word of God.
234 families received a copy of the sacred text with great joy, aware of the immense value of the Bible. All the participants in the seminar promised to dedicate 10 minutes each day to reading and reflecting on the Word of God.
