The 7-member FSP Communications Team set up by the General Government held its first meeting in Rome from 8-12 September 2014. The purpose of the encounter was to reflect on and offer suggestions concerning our presence in the world of communications.

In making their discernment, the sisters, who come from various parts of the world, were helped by the input of Catholic communications experts such as Leo Spadaro and Francesca Triani, SEED Computer Editions; Fr. Marco Saviano, who is in charge of the Social Communications Office in the diocese of Padua; Bishop Paul Tighe, Secretary of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications; Bishop Dario Edoardo Viganò, General Director of the Vatican TV Center, and Bishop Lucio Adrian Ruiz, who is in charge of the Vatican’s Internet Service. The whole meeting was characterized by a fraternal exchange of ideas in a spirit of simplicity, enthusiasm, innovation and great love for the Pauline charism.

We offer our best wishes to our sisters in the hope that they will be able to accomplish the goals of their team in a constructive, enthusiastic and Pauline way.
