The 13th edition of Italy’s National Book Fair, entitled More Books, More Freedom, was recently held in Rome’s Congress building. Organized by the Italian Book Publishers Association for small and medium-sized publishing houses, the Fair hosted 350 events, including conferences, debates, meetings and workshops for students and children.
This year’s Fair was marked by a strong openness to various worlds of culture ranging from music to the theater, cinema and poetry. Many of the publishers participating in the event came not only from Italy but also from publishing houses abroad. The FSPs of Italy participated in the event by means of a stand that offered visitors the best titles in their publishing catalogue.
