The Kenyan Episcopal Conference (KCCB) plans to launch two community radio stations in the country’s Coast Region by means of Waumini Communications.
The two new stations will continue the efforts of the Archdiocese of Mombasa and the Diocese of Malindi to promote peace and development (two critical needs of the region) and will also help to combat the spreading radicalization of young people by striving to involve the whole population in this mission.
The Waumini Communications Project for 2016-2020 foresees the opening of 20 new radio stations throughout the country.
