To celebrate the Year of Consecrated Life launched by Pope Francis, an International Conference on Pastoral Work for Vocations was recently celebrated in Rome, Italy. The event, organized and hosted by the Chicago-based National Religious Vocation Conference, brought together national vocation and religious leaders from many countries of the developed world.

The National Religious Vocation Conference, a Catholic association with headquarters in the United States, has been promoting vocation work for the past 27 years. The purpose of the meeting was to share vocation-related information, identify common needs and challenges and explore future areas for worldwide collaboration in promoting vocations to the consecrated life.
