Many people attended the International Communication Summit 2013, held in Rome, Italy on 25 October.

The program featured talks by Harper Reed, an influential Web strategist and the Chief Technology Officer for the election campaign of U.S. President Barak Obama, Msgr. Paul Tighe, who runs the Vatican’s social media network (including the Pope’s Twitter profile), and Jung Chang, a best-selling Chinese author and one of the most important exponents of Chinese culture today.

These three very different main speakers compared ideas on the Summmit’s theme: Content Cloud. The Future Is in the Contents. Citizenship, Values and Transparency. The Summit offered participants a tour of the Vatican, the United States of America, China and the whole world with the help of these protagonists, who are contributing to the development communications strategies, systems, content and languages.
