“Our book centers are focal points of apostolate. They are not commercial shops but centers of service to the faithful. They are not places of business but centers of light and warmth in Jesus Christ. The Media Center is a temple; the religious who serves, a preacher. Light, holiness, joy in Jesus Christ and Christian life are the goals sought. The counter is the pulpit of truth.”
These words of the Founder James Alberione gave impetus for the realizzation of a new Pauline Book and Media Centre in Bandra, the publishing and communication center of the Indian Province. During the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul, the premises were blessed by the auxiliary bishop emeritus of Mumbai, Monsignor Percival Fernandez.
Other than the presence of many Daughters of St. Paul, also in attendance are the collaborators, friends, members of the Pauline Family, religious, students and benefactors, who came to share the joy of the event and to invoke God’s blessings on the Paulines, on their mission and the audience of their apostolate.
The event ended with a heartfelt thanksgiving from the Daughters of St. Paul to all those who were actively involved in the renovation project, to all those present and, aboveall to God, for his abundant graces and blessings.
