Almost two years after the devastation wrought by Typhoon Haiyan (known locally as Yolanda), one of the most powerful typhoons in history, the Daughters of St. Paul of Tacloban celebrated the Feast of the Divine Master with the blessing of their newly-renovated Media Center and the Radio/TV Office.
The sisters took advantage of this occasion to express their gratitude to the many FSP circumscriptions and communities, their relatives, friends and many people of good will throughout the world who, in this crisis, extended not only their financial help, food and other essentials but also their prayers and moral support.
An icon of the Divine Master holds pride of place in the refurbished Media Center, where they say, the people–especially children–come to pray daily for their intentions.
