For the first time, Edizioni Paoline (Pauline Editions) were part of the selection for the Strega Prize with the romance, Il riscatto (The ransom) by Melo Freni. In addition, there have been some important international awards assigned to various witnesses included in recent books printed by our Publishing house.
Sr. Laura Girotti, a Salesian missionary and the protagonist of the book, La tenda blu (The Blue Tent) received the Ignazio Silene Prize. The Templeton Prize was conferred on Father Tomáš Halík, author of the book, La notte del confessore (The confessor’s night).
