On 20 June, the FSP Book Center of Reggio Calabria, in collaboration with the Reggio Non Tace Association and the diocesan branch of Caritas, held a round table discussion on the book, The Miracle of Fr. Puglisi, written by journalist Roberto Mistretta.
The idea behind the meeting was to reflect on why a young person would choose to join the Mafia. About 100 people from various sectors of society and the field of education in particular participated in the event. The book, which was published 2 months ago and is already being reprinted, recounts the conversion of Giuseppe Carini, who completely reformed his life after meeting Father (now Blessed) Pino Puglisi.
Today Carini continues his battle to promote truth and justice.
