The site sketches out various facets of this protagonist of the Catholic movement that inspired the thought of Fr. Alberione. “What Toniolo said about the duty of being apostles today and of using the means exploited by the opposition made sense to him [Alberione].
He felt deeply obliged to prepare himself to do something for the Lord and for the people of the new century with whom he would spend his life” (AD 15).
Giuseppe Toniolo will be beatified on Sunday, 29 April 2012 in the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, Rome, Italy.
