Closer to God: The Sunday Eucharist: This is the title of a two-hour TV program prepared by the FSP novices of Argentina and recently aired in Colombia with the collaboration of RCN TV of Orquideas (Bogota). The program, presented by Fr. Jesus Hernan Orjuela, a diocesan priest known as ?Fr. Chucho,? witnesses to our sisters? desire to communicate the beauty of the religious life to an always more rushed and distracted world.
In it, our sisters explain the Pauline charism and, through a satellite link-up, give the FSPs of Chile the chance to speak about the country?s recent tragic earthquake.
The broadcast also touches on many of the problems facing Latin America at this time. Warmly received both nationally and abroad, the program is a cry for communion and peace, so necessary if people are to lead full lives.
