In the spirit of ecumenism and dialogue which is a very strong bond between Catholics and Anglicans in the city of Liverpool, Pauline Books and Media Centre in Bold Street hosted the presentation and book signing of Lady Grace Sheppard?s new book on 20 April 2010.
Entitled ?Living with Dying? Lady Grace shared her experience of friendship and loss, and of caring for her dying husband, the late Anglican Bishop David Sheppard.
The presentation was well attended by people who knew the author and her husband or who had great regard and respect for the couple. Lady Grace revealed how living with dying can be a grace-filled time of intimacy, of joy and courage.
She graciously responded to questions raised at the end of her talk, much to the satisfaction of the audience. They thanked the Daughters of St Paul for organizing such a great event and they appreciated our presence, expressing their continued support of the Pauline mission.
