On 14 February, the Russian Ecumenical Center in Rome hosted a book launch for the new FSP publication, La Bellezza della fede (The Beauty of Faith), by Antonio Bongiorno, a deacon and icon painter from Lecce, Italy.
The book uses Scripture texts and a series of icons painted by the author himself in an artistic blend of Eastern and Western traditions to facilitate reflection on the twelve articles of the Apostles’ Creed.
In a world always more deeply immersed in images, the book La Bellezza della fede speaks about God in a profound and original way, offering nourishment to believers and opening new horizons to non-believers. The well-attended book launch was deeply appreciated by all the participants.
