The day was organized by the local Lions Club in collaboration with the National Council of Christian Churches of Brazil (CONIC) and representatives of other religions and religious Congregations. One of the guest speakers for the occasion was Marizete Batista, fsp, who sketched out about what the Daughters of St. Paul are doing to foster ecumenical and inter-religious dialogue through music, audiovisuals and the publication of numerous books.
She cited SEPAC (the Province’s pastoral communications sector) and SAB (its biblical animation service) as significant contributions to this work, remarking that the search for a better world is an indispensable condition for any journey carried out in common.
