To celebrate the 47th World Communications Day, our young Paulines of Romania visited the northern part of the country to hold a series of encounters for young adults, teens and children on the theme of the Day: “Social Networks: Portals of Truth and Faith; New Spaces for Evangelization.”
Taking education as their point of departure, the FSPs involved their audiences in dynamic and creative reflections suited to their various age levels, offering them guidelines concerning how to live the Faith in a culture conditioned by social net-works. In fact, these networks, which are nourished by the deepest hopes of the human heart, need to be inhabited by the One who is Way, Truth and Life.
If the Good News is not proclaimed in the realm of digital technology, then many people will fail to hear it because more and more people are spending more and more time in this important space. The meetings were appreciated by the young adults and children alike, who enthusiastically contributed to making them an occasion for communicating with one another and forging new friendships.
