In response to the rapid spread of artificial intelligence, the Daughters of St. Paul, through the Pauline Media Studies Centre, have launched CatholicFaithAI.com, a portal offering downloadable educational guides on the Catholic perspective of AI.
Created in collaboration with Ricky Manalo, CSP, a Paulist Priest, the site provides practical tools for pastoral leaders, educators, and the faithful. The resources address topics such as liturgy, evangelization, preaching, catechesis, media literacy, relationships, and social doctrine, promoting the ethical use of these new technologies in the light of Church documents, including both old and new documents, as well as recent papal statements on AI.
The guides, designed for personal or group study, include reflections, references to the Magisterium, prayer suggestions, and a selection of academic and ethical resources.
Sister Nancy Usselmann, FSP, director of Pauline Media Studies, points out that AI is now a reality that the Church must confront, offering criteria for discernment based on human dignity and the proclamation of the Gospel. Father Manalo adds that artificial intelligence is already transforming the life and ministry of the Church: this is why CatholicFaithAI.com presents itself as a reliable space for reflection and responsible action, keeping Christ at the center.
