A National Catechetical Congress was recently held in Valehrad, the city in which, according to Tradition, Sts. Cyril and Methodius lived. The Congress, attended by 220 people from various parts of the country, focused on the theme, Christian Initiation. Different speakers cast light on the route catechesis should follow in the coming years.
The Daughters of St. Paul of Prague participated in the Congress with a display of books and DVDs, and also through an active role in one of the seminar’s events. It was a favorable time for them to “test the ground” with regard to catechetical practices and come up with ideas for publishing and diffusion projects always better adapted to this particular area of the Pauline apostolate.
