Thirty-four Daughters of St. Paul from Brazil, Korea, the Philippines, India, the United States, and Canada gathered in Italy from September 8 to October 8, 2026, for the traditional Charism Tour formation program.

The program combined study and firsthand experience to rediscover the charismatic heritage of Blessed James Alberione, a gift to the Congregation and the entire Pauline Family, to be lived out in the Church in light of contemporary challenges.

The theme, “Bearers of Light and Blessing for Humanity, Following in the Footsteps of Paul, Alberione, and Thecla,” reflects the guidelines of the General Chapter and the General Government’s plans for the six-year period from 2025 to 2031.

The program alternated formation sessions with visits to significant places in Pauline history.

Formation and Pilgrimage

Sessions on Pauline spirituality, consecrated life in the digital age, and safeguarding against abuse alternated with visits to places significant in Pauline history, from Rome to Alba, to rediscover the roots of the sisters’ vocation and mission.

From Experience to Mission

Personal reflection helped the participants integrate their experiences into their personal, community, and apostolic lives and identify concrete choices to renew their commitment.

A Vocation Without Borders

The diversity of cultures and languages became an opportunity for communion, affirming the unifying power of the Pauline charism.

The Charism Tour thus offered a valuable opportunity to return to the sources of the sisters’ vocation, strengthen their sense of belonging to the Congregation and the Pauline Family, and renew their awareness of the mission entrusted to them.
