The thirteenth annual conference of BookCity Milan took place from the 11th to the 17th of November. It is an event dedicated to books and literature promoted by the Cultural Department of the City of Milan and the Association of BOOKCITYMILAN, with the support of the Ministry of Culture. There were 1,597 events with over 3,000 attendants and more than 400 volunteers, 70 bookstores, over 50 libraries and 339 locations hosting the event’s conferences.

The Paulines as always, were present at various events in Milan (and beyond), with particular attention to the central theme: “War and Peace”. After several presentations of books, this year too, enjoyed a succession of meetings shared with other Catholic publishers which had been planned in the Ricci Room of the San Fedele Foundation. The initiative, Artisans of Peace, was offered in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Milan.

The Pauline publishing house was involved in two of these encounters: A glance at migrants: Relating to denied rights, resilience, care and hope with Laura Cappellazzo and her works: The three lives of Goli, Peace and human rights, Obstinately, and Stories of commitment and hope as well as Angela Iantosca and Gennaro Giudetti, authors of With them, like them.
