The Divine Master House on the grounds of the FSP complex in Via Antonino Pio, Rome has opened its doors to new residents: the sister of the provincial government and their support team.
On Sunday, 21 October, World Mission Day, Sr. Antonieta Bruscato, Superior General, and the members of her council, together with representatives of various FSP communities in Rome, joined the FSPs of Via Antonino Pio for a simple but heartfelt inauguration of the renovated building, in which Prima Maestra Thecla lived from 1950-1964.
Today, the first floor of the Divine Master House continues to preserve her office and bedroom, both of which contain many objects linked to her life. In this environment overflowing with memories, every Daughter of St. Paul and every member of the Pauline Family can still sense Prima Maestra’s wise and loving presence.
It is our hope that in this new residence, under the gaze of the Queen of Apostles and Maestra Thecla, the FSP provincial governing team will guide the members of our Italian circumscription on a journey rich in apostolic and vocational initiatives that will give glory to God and witness to renewed hope and holiness.
