The Bible in Community course organized by the FSPs of La Paz concluded with a solemn Eucharistic Liturgy celebrated by the Auxiliary Bishop of the diocese, Aurelio Pessoa, in the Basilica of Our Lady, Help of Christians.
The goal of the 3½-year course, which was to form pastoral workers to “multiply” the Word of God in parishes and apostolic groups, was developed from two perspectives: An Overall Look at the Bible and Biblical Theology. In his homily, Bishop Pessoa said: “Today, this course has ended but at the same time we can say that a new and even more challenging stage of the journey has begun for all of you in your service to the Church and to families.”
