From 16-21 October 2013, an “enlarged council meeting” was held for the superiors of our Italian Province to inform and involve them in the happenings of the circumscription.
The encounter opened with a presentation of some of the material that cast greater light on the theme of our recently-concluded 10th General Chapter. This was followed by a presentation of the Chapter Document’s Guidelines, which the Congregation will be following for the next six years. Abundant time and space were also set aside for dialogue and a comparison of ideas concerning the Provincial Project and Programming for 2013-2015.
The participants offered many useful suggestions in this regard and the provincial government will now make the most of them to ensure that the circumscription’s journey is carried out in a spirit of sharing and co-responsibility. In this way, the faith we have received is transformed into witness and communication of the Love that dwells within us.
