On May 5th, during the Bogotá International Book Fair (FILBO), the Department of Technology and Communications of Paulines Colombia hosted a public event on the theme “Artificial Intelligence Versus Human Intelligence.” The speaker, Deivis Fernando Rueda, a digital consultant and international social communicator, offered a thought-provoking reflection to those gathered for the occasion.
At the heart of the discussion was a key question: Can artificial intelligence ever replace human intelligence? From this starting point, Rueda explored the challenges, opportunities, and future directions of AI, including insights from an ecclesial perspective.
The event drew significant interest and was broadcast live by Bogotá’s Capital TV, with coverage picked up by various Latin American media outlets and social networks. Sr. Lucelly, the event coordinator, thanked the attendees and emphasized how relevant and much-requested this topic is by visitors to the Pauline book centers. She also invited everyone to the next FILBO event, scheduled for May 11th.
