A Story To Live

To commemorate the anniversary of the birth of the Pauline Family and launch the second year of preparation for its centenary of foundation, the Daughters of St. Paul and other members of the PF in Nairobi dedicated a day to prayer and reflection on this event.

The theme of the day, The Pauline Family: A Story To Live, helped the participants rekindle their enthusiasm for a story that is not only meant to be remembered and passed on but also continually lived! The part of the program that focused on the future was symbolized by a special gesture: during a prayer liturgy, five FSP missionaries who had joyously sown the seeds of the Pauline vocation in Africa handed over five lighted candles to their younger African sisters.

The act represented the passing on of the flame of the Pauline charism to the new generation. Our very best wishes to all our FSP communities in Africa: may they be a blessing for the noble African continent and the entire world!
