In a spirit of unity and hope, the Daughters of St. Paul and the Society of St. Paul came together to celebrate the 59th World Day of Communications at the Alberione Auditorium.

Guided by the theme “Account for the hope that is in you, yet do it with gentleness and reverence” (1 Pt 3:15–16), the gathering brought together ecclesial communicators, media professionals, and young digital evangelizers. It was a response to Pope Francis’ call for compassionate communication – one that builds understanding and community in an increasingly polarized world.

Highlights of the day included:

  • A reflection by Paolo Asprer, SSP, on “Hope-filled Communication”;
  • A talk by journalist Jacque Manabat on truth and hope in digital media;
  • Three thematic sessions focused on discipleship, spiritual accompaniment, and evangelization in the digital space.

The event concluded with a Eucharistic celebration and a renewed call to be witnesses and communicators of hope and truth – in daily life and on the web.

This collaborative initiative served as a powerful reminder that in a world often overwhelmed by noise and division, communication rooted in hope remains an essential goal.
