The Pauline Cooperators from across India gathered in Bandra, at the Daughters of St. Paul, for their 5th National Convention. Approximately 55 cooperators attended, both promised and those in formation. Those present were Cooperators of the Daughters of St. Paul and the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master, along with priests and religious sisters of the Pauline Family.
The meeting was opened by Sister Matilda D’Souza, Provincial Superior of the Daughters of St. Paul, who expressed her joy in this journey of unification of the Pauline lay groups in India, marking as well, the 75th anniversary of our Pauline presence in India. Sr. Matilda also recalled the launch of the Pauline Cooperators in 2002.
During the formation sessions, Fr. Francisco explored the mission of the laity according to Fr. Alberione: to be “apostles of the media,” proclaiming Jesus, Way, Truth, and Life, through prayer, formation, and evangelization, especially in this digital age. Adrian Rosario spoke about lay leadership, emphasizing the values of integrity, service, and authenticity, while Natasha Swyaze Mani offered insights for reconciling mission and family life.
During the conference, the new Statutes (2022–2027) were presented and five Regional Leaders were elected. The meeting concluded with Eucharistic Adoration and some time for fellowship, strengthening unity and commitment to the Pauline charism.
