The Biblical Festival, sponsored by the Diocese of Vicenza and the Society of St. Paul, began in Genoa on April 9th. It is now a well-established event in the Italian cultural and ecclesial landscape.
Now in its twenty-second year, the Festival continues to stand out as a widespread multi-site initiative that intertwines religion, philosophy, humanities, art, and current affairs, involving numerous regions. Participating dioceses include Verona, Padua, Adria-Rovigo, Vittorio Veneto, Treviso, Chioggia, and Alba, along with Catania and Genoa.
This broad network reflects the vitality of a project capable of bringing faith and contemporary culture into dialogue, offering spaces for open conversation through meetings, panel discussions, and local initiatives.
The theme of the 2026 Festival is The Power of Limits, a proposed reading of the present that interprets limitations not as obstacles, but as resources, opportunities for meaning, connection, and freedom.
