The 16th Religion Today Film Festival will take place from 11-22 October 2013 in Rome, Italy. The purpose of the event is to explore, through films, the differences among the major world religions and to show how the cinema can be used as an instrument of dialogue, meeting and peace-making in diverse socio-political contexts.
The 52 films that will be represented at this year’s Festival will investigate the many elements of the world’s religions that unite, not divide, the human family. This year’s theme is “the real vs. the ideal.”
