Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Articles 13-14 EU Reg. 2016/679

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to describe the management of the website www.paoline.org of the institute of the Daughters of St. Paul, Via S. Giovanni Eudes, n.25 – 00163 Rome, with reference to the use of Cookies and the Processing of Personal Data of the users/visitors who consult the site.

This information is provided in accordance with Articles 13 and 122 of the Code for the Protection of Personal Data (Legislative Decree 196/03, the so-called Privacy Code), the General Provision of the Guarantor of May 8, 2014 on cookies and EU Regulation no. 679/2016 to those who connect to the website www.paoline.org.

The information is provided only for the above mentioned website (hereinafter “Site” or “this Site”) and its possible subdomains, but not for other websites that may be consulted by the user through links.

The Site indicated above is the property of the institute of the Daughters of St. Paul, Via S. Giovanni Eudes, n. 25- 00163 Rome, which guarantees compliance with the regulations on the protection of personal data, in accordance with the provisions of the regulations. We invite users/visitors to carefully read this Privacy Policy before submitting any personal information and/or filling in any electronic form on the Site itself.

Type of data processed and purpose of processing:

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this Site acquire, in normal operation, some personal data that are transmitted implicitly in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its nature could, through processing with data held by third parties, allow the identification of users/visitors (e.g. IP address, domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the Site, the code indicating the response status of the data from the server, type of browser, etc.).

This data is used only for statistical information, therefore it is anonymous, and to check the correct functioning of the Site. The data on web contacts are not stored, however, over six months, except in the case of computer crimes against the Site. No data deriving from the web service will be communicated or disseminated.

If users/visitors connecting to this Site send their personal data in order to access certain services, or to make requests by e-mail, this entails the acquisition by the institute of the Daughters of St. Paul of the sender’s address and/or any other personal data that will be processed exclusively to respond to the request, or to provide the service.
