The Statute of the Pauline Cooperators (approved for experimental use 2022–2027) is taking concrete form through real initiatives and a renewed spirit of trust in India.
On September 28, a meeting was held at the Provincial House of the Daughters of St. Paul in Mumbai, bringing together 22 Cooperators from Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Vasai, along with representatives of the Institutes of the Pauline Family (SSP, FSP, and PDDM), for a total of about 35 participants. It was moving to see people meeting for the first time, united by the Pauline charism.
The program opened with remarks by the Provincial Superior of the Society of St. Paul, Fr. Joby Mathew, who clearly outlined prospects for the Cooperators based on the new provisional charter. Group discussions followed, focusing on three key topics: services to the institutions of the Pauline Family, practical application of the Statute, and strategies to increase membership.
The atmosphere, charged with enthusiasm, fostered a rich exchange of ideas and testimonies. After two and a half hours of dialogue, participants left the meeting eager to gather again soon and continue writing the story of the Pauline Cooperators in India—together.
