The Local Church in the Czech Republic recently organized a pilgrimage to celebrate the Year of Consecrated Life and give thanks to God for the gift of the vocation to the religious life. About 70 members of different religious congregations, including two Daughters of St. Paul from our Prague community, made the pilgrimage from Svatý Hostýn to Velehrad on foot.

The days of the event were blessed with sunshine and characterized by joy. At Velehrad, the participants were offered the choice of various experiences such as personal encounters, group sessions, discussions guided by experts, common prayer, nature walks, liturgy preparations and visits to the city. The concluding Mass, celebrated by Cardinal Dominik Duka, Archbishop of Prague, was suffused with joy.
