On 14 June, the large Cathedral of Our Lady of Safe Travel, located in center city, seemed very small when filled with all the friends and guests who participated in the Mass of thanksgiving celebrated to commemorate the Centenary of foundation of the Daughters of St. Paul.
The Liturgy was presided over by Bishop John Justin Medeiros Silva, who thanked the Lord for the active and effective presence of the FSPs in the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte, where the Institute has been carrying out a wealth of evangelization activities ever since 1948. At the end of the Eucharist, the book, Venerable Thecla Merlo: A Thousand Lives for the Gospel, was distributed. The day ended with a festive dinner.
