F.I.D.A.P.A. Woman’s Award 2015

Sr. Beatrice Immediata, fsp, who works in the FSP Publishing House in Milan, Italy, has been awarded the prestigious F.I.D.A.P.A. Woman’s Award 2015, sponsored by the municipal district of Milan and organized and promoted by the Italian Federation of Women in the Professional and Business Arts. The purpose of the award, now in its fourth edition, is to focus attention on women who work on a daily basis for the emancipation and growth of women in different spheres of society and culture.

The award ceremony, which will take place on 25 February, will honor and thank five Milanese women who have distinguished themselves for their commitment in the fields of social work, volunteer activities, entrepreneurship, and art and culture, thus helping to improve the life of the community. This year’s recipients of the award are:

Amalia Ercoli Finzi, for her important contribution to the Rosetta Mission;

Clotilde Gislon, for her zeal with regard to formation, research and experimentation in the field of mental health;

Daniela Mainini, for her efforts in the fight against counterfeiting;

Piera Merlini, for her commitment to medical and scientific research;

Beatrice Immediata, fsp, for her dedication to diffusing human and social values, with a special focus on women.
