53 full and short-length films, plus documentaries from all over the world, all centered on the theme of the equal rights of men and women. This was the golden thread that tied together all the films sent in to the Religion Today Film Festival 2016.
Held in collaboration with the Autonomous Province of Trent, the Festival’s theme: We were deeply loved: Religions and gender relationships, was chosen in memory of director Ettore Scola. The competing films illustrated this contemporary and crucial subject by recounting the changes and slow progress being made in this field, including within the millenary traditions of the world’s great religions.
