Dange Nwe Radio is a radio station that airs programs for refugees. It is run by a group of women who are refugees themselves.

The station broadcasts from Halabja, a women’s center in an Iranian province in which Kurds make up the majority of the population. The programs are aimed at migrant communities that have fled the war zones and resettled in this part of Iranian Kurdistan. Daily broadcasts include music, poetry, current events, politics and advice for obtaining legal aid or health care. All the programs are aired in Arab and Kurmanji (a Kurd dialect). So as to reach more migrants, a young Kurd woman is also posting the radio programs on her website and on the social media.
