The commitment to inclusive education, work for the integration of different communities, especially those with fewer resources, and mobilization for the right to study–these were the reasons that prompted the UNICEF Spanish Committee to award its Moviliza Prize this year to the Scholas Occurrentes, a “classroom without walls” in which young people from around the world can meet.

The award, presented by Queen Letizia, was accepted by José Maria del Corral, the Director General of the School. The Scholas Occurrentes and UNICEF have been working together for several years to promote peace through education. This year’s prize was shared with the short film It was not me, produced by Africanauan.
