On 11 July 2017, the 9th General Chapter of the Sisters of Jesus the Good Shepherd elected Sr. Aminta Sarmiento Puentes as Superior General of the Institute for the 2017-2023 sessenium.
Sr. Aminta, a Colombian, was the Bursar General of the Institute since 2000. We assure her of our prayers and ask the Lord that she might serve her sisters with the heart of a mother, weaving ever-stronger bonds of communion with them and with the Pauline Family.
