On 11 December 2012, the Cathedral of Naples, Italy hosted a concert featuring excerpts from the music CD Anima e Cuore (Heart and Soul) produced by St. Paul Audiovisuals.
The CD offers original contemporary music together with melodies by a very well known and popular son of Naples: St. Alphonsus Maria de’Liguori, noted above all for his Christmas hymn, Tu scendi dalle stelle, not to mention many other songs rich in feeling.
In this CD, Neapolitan composer and drummer, Mario Fasciano successfully brings together the old and the new: the tender, moving melodies of St. Alphonsus, and the sounds of the contemporary rock world; the warmth and emotion characteristic of Naples and the modern rhythm and sound so popular with today’s international audiences.
