Smartphone software dedicated to religion is multiplying in today’s world.
In fact, the Daughters of St. Paul of Korea have launched a series of software applications for smartphones so as to offer assiduous users of the new technologies instruments for praying. iPhone and iPad applications are by now the preferred channels for communicating with others.
What are our sisters offering people in this area? After an initial program entitled Reflections on the Word, they launched three other applications: The Rosary, Alberione, and Jacob’s Well.
Reflections on the Word: a brief daily meditation on the Word of God, accompanied by music and pictures.
The Rosary: the faithful can pray by listening to and reflecting on each mystery.
Alberione: the life and spirituality of Blessed James Alberione.
Jacob’s Well: reflections on the daily Gospel and the Lectio Divina for Sundays. Jacobs Well is also the title of a monthly biblical magazine published by our sisters.
