A permanent consultation team, made up exclusively of women, recently met for the first time at the headquarters of the Pontifical Council for Culture in Vatican City. The purpose of the new organism, which was established through the efforts of Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, President of the Council, is to gather opinions on various projects underway, offer ideas and suggestions for new initiatives, and study cultural priorities from the perspective of women.

The team is made up of university professors, mothers of families, diplomats, journalists, political and scientific activists, government workers and religious.
