The FSP community of Nairobi commemorated the Centenary of the Pauline Family in Holy Trinity Parish, which is staffed by the Consolata Missionaries. The sisters explained to the faithful the history and mission of the Pauline Family in the Church and world, illustrating their talk with a short power point program prepared for the occasion.

The presence of the Daughters of St. Paul was felt everywhere: posters set up in different parts of the church called the attention of the people to specific aspects of the Pauline apostolate, while outside the church a large selection of books were on display, in particular, various editions of the Bible and Bible-related texts, as well as books for families and children.

It was an ideal moment for sowing the Word, in keeping with the recommendation of Fr. Alberione: “Through Jesus Christ you received the grace and vocation of the Pauline apostolate. Go out to all the nations to proclaim the Faith and the salvation of souls” (RSP, p. 568).

This simple event gave our sisters of Kenya the chance to strengthen their communion with all the members of the Pauline Family throughout the world and to witness to the fact that “the Pauline Family aspires to integrally live the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Way, Truth and Life, in the Spirit of St. Paul, under the gaze of Mary, Queen of Apostles.”
