On the Feast of the Assumption, taping began on a new children’s TV program that will be presented in pantomime form from beginning to end. The program, which will be aired on Taiwan’s public television, is being produced by Kuangchi Program Service, the country’s oldest TV company, which is celebrating its 56th birthday this year.

Fr. Jerry, vice-president of KPS and a veteran producer of children’s TV programs, says: “If we truly try to educate our little ones, like Jesus did in the Gospel, the results will be very positive. When these children become adults, they will then teach the next generation.” The new program, based on the book Mr. Amour and His Cats, recounts how daily life can be very special when it is open to love and acceptance of others.
