On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the course in Library Science (a discipline that studies the various systems of classification, cataloging, collocation, distribution and conservation of the works collected in libraries) offered by the Federal University of Maranhão, our local FSP book center received a plaque of gratitude for services rendered to the course. The ceremony was held in the central auditorium of Dom Delgado university city. During the opening conference of this third meeting for librarians, which focused on the theme: Information, Reading and Contemporary Challenges for Education in Information Sciences, Sr. Gervis Monteiro, fsp, accepted the recognition plaque on behalf of all the FSPs.
