The 15th International Festival of Music and Sacred Art, which will take place from 16-21 November in Rome, will be dedicated to Mother Teresa of Calcutta, the saint of the Year of Mercy. As in previous years, the four papal basilicas and other churches of the city will host 800 artists and performers from every part of the world.
Participating in the Festival will be the Wiener Philharmoniker Orchestra, by now an established presence at the event, while the Choir and Orchestra of the Scala of Milan, directed by Christoph Eschenbach, will be taking part in it for the first time.
