In April, the FSP Niteroi Book Center in the State of Rio de Janeiro organized a prayer service open to the public for the purpose of imploring God to bestow his mercy on humanity.

The fraternal evening, in which many people (book center clients, friends and even passers-by) participated, was a very meaningful preparation for the Jubilee of Mercy indicted by Pope Francis to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the closing of Vatican Council II: “a time for the Church to rediscover the significance of the mission the Lord entrusted to her after his resurrection, namely: to be a sign and instrument of the Father’s mercy.”
