To conclude their celebration of the 50th anniversary of the launch of the periodical Parish Catechists, the FSPs of Italy organized a Congress on the theme, Proclaiming Jesus in the World of Multimedia.

Held on 10 January 2015 at Rome’s Pontifical Major Seminary, the following subjects were presented at a round table discussion:

Forming the Whole Person in Christ, Way, Truth and Life, for Total Love (Carlo Cibien, ssp);
Catechetics, Communications and the New Anthropology (M. Rosaria Attanasio, fsp);
New Navigation Itineraries (Mariangela Tassielli, fsp).
The primary goal of the Congress was to share ideas concerning new paths to pursue in educating people in the faith, taking as a starting point the latest directives of the Italian Bishops’ Conference. A second goal was to explore all together the new ways of relating to one another that have emerged in this time and the best way to approach people with the Good News in our post-modern and multimedial society.
All the participants in the Congress received a free copy of Parish Catechists magazine, accompanied by a booklet to help them reflect more deeply on the contents of the periodical, in the hope that they will accept the invitation to exchange ideas about it online.
