On 15 June 2017, the FSP community of Alba, Italy combined its solemn celebration of the anniversary of the foundation of our Congregation with a festive celebration of the 100th birthday and 84th anniversary of religious profession of one of its members: Sr. Anna Maria Dal Pra’. When a person “cuts the ribbon” of a century of life, more than 8 decades of it spent proclaiming the Gospel, it is a reason for the whole Congregation to praise and thank the Lord.

All the FSPs of Alba enthusiastically participated in this event, joined by Sr. Dolores Melis, provincial superior, and Sr. Rosalba Martino, provincial councilor for health care. Many of Sr. Anna Maria’s relatives and friends were also present for the occasion, which was marked by songs, dances, the reading aloud of birthday messages, etc. Everyone warmly thanked Sr. Anna Maria for her unconditional dedication to God and her simple and humble fidelity to him day after day, over so many years. Now the rest of the Congregation joins our Alba community in praising and thanking the Lord for his gift to us of this sister and her steadfast service.
