This book is about the power of prayer. The Person to whom we pray is the Infinite, that is, God. In this regard, the power of prayer is unlimited. God does not limit his promises to any one class of people. Therefore everyone can ask: Christians or non- Christians, just or sinners, rich or poor, Children or aged. Confidence is the essential condition for prayer to be fruitful. The request itself concerns the grace asked and the manner of petitioning. God is Omnipotent. He always grants prayers properly made; but he grants them in the divine manner that is, as a wise and most loving Father. The meditations in this book are a series of talks that BI. James Alberione, the Founder of the Pauline Family, gave to the members of various Congregations. However they can be very inspiring for everyone. Because they are talks, the style used is spontaneous and informal.
