This is the slogan of the Second March in the Footsteps of St. Paul, programmed on the level of the Pauline Family in collaboration with the Youth Ministry of the Diocese of Rome. The event, which will take place from 5-12 August 2018, will be divided into two stages.

In the first stage, the participants will set out on 5 August from Pozzuoli/Naples on a march that will conclude at the tomb of St. Paul in Rome. The route will include some sections of the Via Appia and along the way the young people will have the chance to learn more about Paul, the Apostle of the Gentiles.

In the second stage of their pilgrimage (11-12 August), the group will be reinforced by other young people from various parts of Italy, all of whom will head together to St. Peter’s Basilica, the site of St. Peter’s martyrdom. There they will have an audience with Pope Francis and deliver to him their thoughts, concerns and shared reflections in view of the Synod of Bishops on Young People, which will take place in October 2018.
